The HGS Finance Committee has two main roles. The first role is that of steward of the Society’s investment funds. In this role, the committee works closely with HGS’ professional advisor to recommend appropriate investment strategies to the HGS Board. Our second role concerns the preparation of the society’s annual budget. Here, the committee works with all the other HGS committee chairs to collate and prepare the annual budget for presentation to the HGS Board.
